I've been closing out multiple business websites and telling them they need to find another web person, because I can't keep doing them anymore...  :(

That's strange.  I don't know what the problem might be.  I had to log into GoDaddy today for a business website and didn't have any problem.  Wish I could help, Neil, but there's nothing I can do on your account...

Huh!  Neil gave me the link to the new site, and I checked it out yesterday.  Looking good.  But went to look at it again today and can't get there.  What do you think, Neil?

Anyone Still Using Kristal
« on: June 01, 2020, 04:59:47 PM »
In a nostalgic moment I decided to go and look at the old Kristal forum. It needs a log-on to view anything now and I couldn't remember mine, and wasn't bothered enough to go through the recovery process, so gave up. (Nostalgia isn't what it used to be).

It did leave me wondering though, if anyone is still using Kristal?

I still have Kristal running on my desktop.

I have used it on occasion recently to record my Backing Harmonies.  I just find it easy to use in that sense.

3 left and 3 right and then export the wave file and Fx it in reaper.

I used it a few months back. I got to be honest, while I liked it and used it all the time about 10 years ago, I don’t really like it now. Boxes kept hiding, my laptop click button was constantly selecting things I didn’t want (also too issue). And snap function difficult to use and other cumbersome
Aspects.

I still have it installed but I only use it to tidy up old projects to then import them into Studio One.
It was such a good starting point to get into digital recording back then. I learned so much from that program and the forum.
I am still an admin on the old forum so if you need access I can probably figure it out  ::)

Like Bob, I am not using Kristal anymore, but it's successor Studio One. I wasn't a big fan of Studio One when I started with it, but dang, the more I learn about it, the more impressed I am. It's very handy and extremely powerful.

I think I started with Kristal 15 years ago! Getting quite nostalgic about it, such a fun little community,

Couldn't get it working on win7 years ago and moved to Reaper, and actually bought it 5 years ago.  I still don't use 90% of the functions, but did finally add midi composing to my abilities.

That's odd, I just installed it on a Win7 machine and all works fine....
I don't use it, now. Sonar 8 has stolen my heart....  ;)
