New FL Studio Version...
« on: June 04, 2018, 11:39:39 AM »
I'm pretty sure nobody else here uses FL Studio, but I've always had fun playing with it.

Just got the email that version 20 is available.  They went directly from version 12 to version 20, apparently to mark their 20th anniversary.  One of the things I like about FL Studio (besides it being a fun and useful program) is that it comes with lifetime free updates.

Anyway, no big deal, like I said I don't think anybody else here uses it.  But I'll be downloading the update tonight and giving it a try.

For anybody that might be interested, here's a video showing some of the updated features.  *It doesn't show any of the standard features, if you've never seen FL Studio there are other videos that show the FL Studio basics.

I've got two copies of version 12 - one normal and one 64 bit... whatever all that means. I keep returning to it, but just can't get the hang of it, no matter how hard I try. I do like the clarity of the loaded recordings though and I have tried playing around with the fx, but that's as far as I've ever been able to get.

It is kind of a complex system, Bri, but once you figure out the basics it's a fun system to play with.  Lots of options and ways to work with things...

I have enough trouble with ONE Daw lol
I'm barely scratching the surface of the one I've been using for several years so I doubt I'd be able to get anything out of another one....
