I had my first gig last night! Instead of collecting tips for me, I decided to make it a fundraiser.  We collected $383.25 for the local food bank!   :D

I found changing the velocity in Reason a little fiddly for my taste....but the overall SOUND of the instruments was outstanding!

Hey agr, I tried out the full version of Reason last year, but I like more control over the patterns. For my workflow I like Groove Monkee & Odd Grooves to lay down a root feel, then I go back in 90% of the time & tweak....add a ghost snare hit here, a cymbal there, etc. I found changing the velocit

Well, wasn't going to get the good stove fixed in time, but this afternoon while working on other stuff we remembered there was a cook stove in the old mobile home out back.  So, disconnected that, hauled it out to the trailer and to the other house, hauled it in, refit some gas lines and did a few other tweaks, and shazam, she has a real oven to bake with Saturday.  And everything only hurt for a little while.

Now tomorrow I get to mow, whack weeds, and move the tables and chairs around again.  Really looking forward to Saturday evening.  ;D

But Saturday will be worth all of it...

Man, I was hoping you could make it, G.  You could have picked up Neil on the way, and done the concert of the decade...

Most artists don't pick up their hecklers on the way to a concert. Can you imagine the two of us in the same car for 16 hours at a time?  :P

Sorry we couldn't make it Boss, but Neil didn't want to reschedule his pedicure (said he's not paying for gas either) and we had show for you that showcased both of our skillsets so I didn't think it was right to do it solo.  )(?

What can I say, I got a heart for the little guy.  :-*
