I've been closing out multiple business websites and telling them they need to find another web person, because I can't keep doing them anymore...  :(

That's strange.  I don't know what the problem might be.  I had to log into GoDaddy today for a business website and didn't have any problem.  Wish I could help, Neil, but there's nothing I can do on your account...

Huh!  Neil gave me the link to the new site, and I checked it out yesterday.  Looking good.  But went to look at it again today and can't get there.  What do you think, Neil?

So while the DIY tube amp is in waiting, I've been selling off a lot of gear.. you know, that stuff that seemed like a good idea at the time.. and I got this to jam with:

The "100" is one of those HiFi amp market BS pitches where you add the wattage of stereo channels to get a "total". I wanted a 50W Marshall Code to jam but decided on one of these instead.

Still can't play like any of you lot so no monster demos a la Spiral :)

You'll have to put up with an "ad" :)

This one's a much better one, if you have the time (23 minutes) and can stand Danny's numpty interjections (he's a far better guitarist than he is an interviewer)

Nice  :) has a nice clear sparkly sound .... I like sparkle. If it ain't heavy I like it , lugging a heavy amp is a drag. I always try to mic my amp here at the house
After 40years I'm still a rhythm player and the best songs ever are simple ;) Layla being the exception.
Okay ... lets do this one more time ... take 43 http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1277143

12.5kg, which is a little over 25lbs.

As for sounds, I thought I'd like using the Insider tweaking software but aside from backing up patches I've made, I think patch creation will be very much a hands-on experimental thing, then I'll just back up what I want. I haven't had as much time to play as I'd like (lest I incur the wrath of the Household Administrator for a "lack of presence") but the little I've played with makes me happy as I discover new things about it and the sounds it'll make.

Will get the companion footswitch eventually but for now, it'll be dialling-in the sounds I want for the jam sessions and pushing buttons on the unit itself...

... and if I have enough cash from the gearing-down/gearing-sideways sales :) I may just get me one of these first... posted it a month ago here
