A little update: Thru the Audigy 2 in my tower there's no more latency than thru the module.  :o Very cool  8) You could play the kit stand alone with the Soundfont bank manager.  The 32mb sf2 even.

Oh I wish I'd have bought this electronic kit instead of the acoustic drum kit.  :-X Just assembling them was an adventure. They are effortless to play , the module has 10 kits built in couple of them are kinda goofy.   You can reassign the sounds so , with just the module you could record a realistic drum track.

Mind you I was checking them out thru the PA with 215's. Those same Kustom cabinets cost twice as much today. Musicians Friend  ;)   You'd want a decent woofer  to appreciate the kick drum. The adjustment brackets are plastic so they probably wont take a great deal of abuse.  I'll record something with them soon , so you can hear them.  Yeah they are worth the $200.

These have single zone pads so I'm not expecting too much.
I had a midi drum brain years ago and played around with making pads/triggers.
To justify getting it , I'm coming up with all kinds reasons.  :P

1. It weighs a fraction of the kit I have.

2. It's quiet and might get a gig at the local Perry Como fan club annual picnic.

3. When the kids practice here I wear Micky Mouse ears (muffs) it's really loud.

4. It comes with a set of sticks

5. I have a extra throne

6. It was stupid deal of the day $199.99 , I'm Stupid  :-X it called to me.

The Alesis Nitro 8pc kit has a dual zone snare  8) $349. at GC here.
The neat thing with midi is you can change the instrument after your done. Play and trigger sequences real time in performance. Change the kit at different points in a song via the sequence.

It's very nice  8) A room mic would  add ambience.

Here ambience is the  windows rattling.

Thanks Joom , need a DI on the bass DI  ;) Wes was using the distortion feature but , he was hooked to the amp via the thru jack.  :P  My fault  :-[

A lot more used to get accomplished with , right handed cigarettes and coffee.   :-X

Had a lot of bleed on the bass into the drums , gonna move the bass amp. Give Chris the whole end of the room , I just had the drums set out of the way.   The room is 12.5 x 21'  after living in a trailer for years and still in that same shape room in a house. lol
Having a good drummer in the house gives me happy feet.  These kids are on the same page for a change.

The little AD box works great  Time to find where I put that little Behringer 802 mixer  (-!)

I've got the littlest cheap RCA wire I could find carrying a strong clean digital signal.  I'll have to get my crimp tool out and make a few more 75ohm cables with RCA ends.

I read somewhere that 75ohm cable makes great RCA cables even for analog  ;)
I also have a little DA converter box so I should be able send one to the other. Someone that does DJ stuff could make use of a pair of AD -to- DA boxes.  Trying to use a wireless router in a unknown venue could test Murphy's Law.  :P

Just got a Analog -to- Digital converter , will be checking it out tomorrow. OCD got the best of me , I should be able to track 16 channels with the  Tascam US1800 now  :-X (still works good)

I've been using a couple Dell GX780 mini tower's for personal use and really like them.  All things come to he who waits?  So now I have two more. Cool running Core 2 duo e8400 cpu's (two are e8600) , 8gb ddr3 ram in each , Nvidia NVS 300 graphics cards (18watts) , Card readers in the floppy bays.  A couple have Intel ssd's system drives , couple have WD 500gb RE drives. Couple run W8.1 ,couple run W10.

I'm tired so the AD converter will get a testing tomorrow.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/Musou-RCA-Analog-to-Digital-Optical-Toslink-Coaxial-Audio-Converter-Adapter/303142392436?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I liked it better without the extra weight :P but , it all works. I used nylon 1/8" spacers where the vibrato attached to the guitar face. So the vibrato doesn't sit on the face of the guitar.  The spring that comes with the vibrato is too tall so I had to cut it down. You probably would do good to get a 7/8"'s spring. There's a lot of space between the roller and the bridge. The angle is not so sharp so the strings go under the vibrato roller. The Roller bridge is really nice and a must in my opinion. The two setscrews on either side lets you lock it down no rocking of the bridge where it sits on the pin posts. The pin posts that came with the new bridge fit the same thread as the anchors/receivers on the guitar.

The Crossrock case is a little big but , it  was expected.  I wish I wasn't putting a Bigsby on it  :-X

Then there's Scott Groves , take on it  :P

I really like the stain and it's good to have a handy helper.

Wesley mentioned selling a guitar  :o recently , he's too big to wrestle with now  >:(
We paid very little for most of the guitars we have so not a lot to gain in selling one. We've only got 15  :P

Never a simple thing to add that Bigsby style tremolo. Roller bridge just ordered from China to go with the tremolo he ordered from China. He's not going to like that he can't divebomb with the Bigsby style tremolo.

Personally I detest whammy bars and tremolo's. Had a friend that had a Bigsby on a Les Paul. He could get a nice effect with it.  ::) The Bigsby style tremolo  https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrome-Tremolo-Vibrato-Tailpiece-Bridge-Hollowbody-Archtop-For-Les-Paul-Guitar-/191972460803?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10#rwid

Since I'll be drilling holes in it , might as well add a stutter switch.  :P You know the guitar is perfect the way it is  :-X
