I think it's cute
When you salute
It seems to suit
Your attribute
I know that others
Might dispute
But they know
I don't give a hoot
Cause all in all
It's kinda cute

I'm sure he could, Ag, but it won't take long once I can get to it.  Just figured I'd get all the paid for website work I'm behind on done first.  4 business website updates to do, one new one to build, and set up a new student computer lab at a school...

Maybe Lurk can help out ? Just an idea I know TTM is your baby but nothing wrong with asking for help once in a while . 😁

Aw, crap.  You mentioned "business" and it reminded me I have to let a few know I should be able to do some work this week.  Don't know if I'm ever going to get a chance to rebuild the TTM main site...  :(

 ~:)  Good one!

I sure wish we did that now. Of course, I've posted a separate thread after the challenge asking specifically for feedback and have learned a ton! So it's not like we can't get that now.

Yep, a very worthy winner...I thought the production was excellent as well!! 8)

Thanks guys for saying some nice things about Ghost Ship also.

Those were my top two.  I actually listened to them both a few times over a couple days, just to be sure.

As a side note, ODC voting is something I look forward to each month-ish.  I really enjoy hearing everyone's take on the challenge topic.

Yikes! I'm embarrassed that I submitted a draft! Those are some good songs.

Well, on the plus side, I don't have to help think of a topic for next month!

what he said ^^^^  :D

I went ahead a threw one of our drafts into the pot for voting too.  Might as well have more songs to vote on, right?

Yes, yes, I know its not polished but hey, at least it's something!

I'm on mobile so that's probably why it didn't open for me. The link worked though. Sounds good!

I'd be interested in helping, if I can. It could even be a cover song like Auld Lang Syne

Howdy from another relative beginner. (Five years here) You've got a great mentor in Ray, I love hearing him play!

So here is my idea.  I was reading a Stephen King book and it contained the line "When it comes to our past, we're all just writing fiction."  That really struck me as an interesting phrase.  I've been working on how to make that a song but I've ended up with a huge variety of ideas.  It could be about the 'Good old days' that aren't really that good.  Love lost that maybe wasn't a great relationship to begin with.  Abuse that we rationalize as not being that bad.  That horrible experience that probably wasn't as bad as we thought it was.  Etc, etc....

So lets work together.

What if several of us write our own verse about how we view something in our past that probably wasn't how we remember it.  Once we have the verses, we can put together a chorus that kind of ties it all together.  Ideally, we would each sing our verse individually and the chorus together.  I'm thinking of a music version of telling lies at the bar.

Thoughts? Interest?

Challenges / Re: Dec/Jan 2018/19 Challenge

I love this idea!

Can we ask for help on this thread?  I'm asking because I don't know who I need help from.  I have a line stuck in my head that I think is a great basis for a song but I have so many ideas that it could actually be 4 or 5 different songs.  Or, I could keep it outside of this thread and start a new thread.

Which would you prefer?

What I meant by not giving crap was just the reading of posts me repeating why I can’t enter this or that challenge not that didn’t care about me personally but I thank you for guns and beer , there was beer right ?

Well... There WAS beer.... ;)
