Jes Combobob. Talk about make us feel old. I was watching a Christopher Ecclestone old doctor who and the mobiles in 2005 seemed prehistoric. Times change. For better and worse.

Happy 15th TTM. I remember the first song I recorded fot the Kristal Challenge in 2005. It had bass and vocals and I uploaded it on the old dial-up. How things have changed...I have learned so much from you all and made many friends here.  :)

I've been working on this on and off (mostly) for ages.

This is the latest version.

There's no smiley face in a cowboy hat so this will have to do  (-!)

You walk alone
Thru streets unknown
I wonder where your going to
She’s waiting still
She always will
That’s the love she holds for you
Go on home
The lights still on
A candle burns there for you
Go on home she’s all alone
Her arms are waiting to

Another town
Another name
Your just a drifter passing thru
Somewhere out there
Is one who cares
That’s the love she holds for you

Go on home
Go on home
A candle burns there for you
Go on home she’s all alone
Her arms are waiting to

Real nice song and so well performed.  ~:)

Not much of a stretch to see it fitting this months challenge criteria.

Nice looking pieces GC. You've got way more skill and patience than I would need to do something like that.  ~:)

I'm disappointed tho that those aren't all your amps!  (-!)

mmm...I'm having a lot of problems with it too. I get sound, but lots of other problems. mainly around the style picker functions, I can hear the samples etc. but when I select any style to generate tracks, it tells me that the style doesn't exist. When I do get a style that works, it often only generates one track. All that as well as many of the features that they say come with 2019 and now according to their support desk "don't come with the upgrade you brought" and that will be anothre $99 USD thanks.

Frankly I think this version is very unstable almost beta software..

Thanks for having a listen guys.

Always been one of my favorite  Hank songs but until just now I didn't know it was his last and was the B-side of the single.

They actually have a thing down there called TTSSW. " syndrome.
  :(

?????

I have to ask mate or I'll spend all day trying work it out.

But I can't take credit for the joke, it's older than my time in Regina. I  pinched it just like many of my tunes.  :P

A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.

"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30000 loan to take a holiday."

Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's OK, he knows the bank manager. Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.

The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about half an inch tall - bright pink and perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office. She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30000, and he wants to use this as collateral."

She holds up the tiny pink elephant.

"I mean, what in the world is this?"

The bank manager looks back at her and says, "It's a knick-knack, Patty Whack, give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

I found this while flicking through my files today, pretty sure I never posted it or at least I can't find where I posted it.

I think someone else might have done a version around the same time .

So now that you've all had time to forget how good that other version was, here's mine.

Now where's my Cowboy Hat and Rhinestone Suit?

Thanks to everyone who had a listen.

I've now actually completed the song ( I think, I hope), trying out a new singing voice as everything else I did made it sound like a dirge.

If anyone is worried about my health, please don't, I will be having them sewn back on tomorrow.  :o
