I suggested to Matthias that he finally close the Kristal forum as it is still a haven for spam that I have to clean up each day. It looks lilke he did it...

« on: October 13, 2018, 07:02:38 PM »
Hey folks, here is a plugin that we all can use, called Vocal Doubler from iZotope.....

You have a few hoops to jump thru, but not to bad, and it is at Our Favorite Price Point!  8)

PGMusic is having another contest for the folks that bought the newest Xtra Style Pak 5, and after I heard this rhythm track I knew i had to do this one. I used the Rhythm from the Pak, but layerd 3 diffrent Lead Instruments from other packs along with a few of the newest Vocal "Ohhs & Ahhs"

OK Folks, it has been awhile, but how many feel the time is right for another TTM Album?  ~:)

If so, I would like to nominate The Cottonwood Blues Band's entry into this years BOTB. It was a fun track that turned out great IMHO....... ;D 8)

Ardour / MixBus / New Mixbus Course at 1/2 price
« on: May 25, 2018, 03:46:53 PM »
Tho I have not been posting in this section (hope to change that this summer) I am still using Mixbus and investing in the Harrison plugins for it. In the mean time for all you folks that do use Mixbus here is a great course for 1/2 price....

$15 is not a At Our Favorite Price Point™ price, but it IS cheap, and this course is worth it. I learned a few tricks in it (mainly VCA's) so it is worth the $$. I am using Mixus 32c, and at this time could not be happier.

Hope This Helps! 8)

Other / MSpectralDelay At Our Favorite Price Point™ till 6-3-18
« on: May 21, 2018, 04:56:15 PM »
Here is a fun one to have, I am wasting WAY too much time on this months TTM ODC playing with this! If ya like delays of all types give this a go, and ya have nothing to lose at the price it is going for......

Other / Great Deal For Mixbus Users!
« on: March 23, 2018, 07:57:04 PM »
Mixbus has been sending out these "whats in the box" sales at the rate of one plugin per sale, and thne it is over. I just received an email that you can once again pick up a Free EQ and 3 $9.81 plugins, 2 compressor's and 1 de-esser.

I missed the Look Ahead Comp & De-Esser the first time around, so this was perfect timing for me! If ya use Mixbus & would like to grab some great plugins (even if they are not At Our Favorite Price Point™) then here is the link....I hope it works...

Another Low End saver, this free-b really does do what it says it will. I have been using a new bass & placed some flats on an old one, and working on dialing them in. This & the MJUC jr has really helped me do this.....

You have to join the site and once again jump thru some hoops, but once again this plugin is worth it if your dealing with bass.  ~:)

The Klanghelm stuff is very good, but at times very picky when setting it up. This free-b solves that IMHO. After a while of using this, I can say it has taken over Bass Compression duty's for me....

I am a HUGE fan of the TDR stuff, their Compressors are great, but this one is super easy to use....which means it is quick to use. Simple controls that don't get in the way when your mixing, and THAT rocks in my book.  ;D

Solid on Bass, and dy-no-mite on Vocals...plus it is At Our Favorite Price Point™, so how can you go wrong?

Other / Overlouds Gem EQ550 Free Until March 18th 2018!
« on: March 15, 2018, 05:27:27 AM »
A VERY nice sounding EQ here, I have been playing with it for a few hours tonight. This thing sounds super on acoustic instruments, both real and sampled, Vocals and Electric Guitar. I am not sure if I like on my Bass yet, but we will see on down the road.

You can Grab It Here

This thing is going to be priced at $139, but right now it is At Our Favorite Price Point™ untill the 18th. You have to have an account & jump thru a few hoops, but this one is worth it IMHO.

Hope This Helps!  8)

Check it out here.....

From the site....

"The SampleScience Player is the biggest free rompler available today. This instrument plug in contains a core library of 200 playable instruments. You'll find everything from acoustic pianos to analog synthesizers drums. To limit the size of the plug in without compromising it sound quality, the library has been compressed to FLAC, a lossless audio compression codec."

I am grabbing it now, so I can not say how it sounds, etc etc......but with the demos sounding so good, and with it being At Our Favorite Price Point™ how can ya go wrong?!  ;D

It IS a large download, so it will take awhile for sure... :o

Hope This Helps!  8)

........too brief, unoriginal, and uncreative to warrant protection under the Copyright Act,

Just....wow...... :o  :P  8)

Other / Mixing Made Easy Vol.1....At Our Favorite Price Point™!
« on: January 28, 2018, 02:04:33 PM »
Just a heads up on a pretty cool Mixing Course that is being offered for FREE ATM. You need to go to HERE, scroll past the interview and access the HRME site thru the link that is there. Then click on "Buy This, enter your email & click "Get". All the links will be emailed to you.

There are 14 files that range from 80mb to 300mb, so it will take a few to grab them all. I bought this course & Vol.2 when it came out, and feel it is worth the && I spent, and you lucky stiffs get Vol.1 for free!  :P

My ONLY complaint is that the guy goes on & on while talking a mile a min.....which makes it hard to follow at times. It is a "beginners" course, but I picked up a few tricks (reverb / delay) so even if you are comfortable mixing it is STILL worth the download IMHO....especially while it is At Our Favorite Price Point™

Hope This Helps! 8)
