Still shoveling, Ag.  These last 3 weeks have been the worst of the winter, with a dozen other problems tossed in.  I could whine about it for hours...  :P

Hey Ag! I was just listening to your song "Incandescent." One of my favorites. Beautiful!

I've been so preoccupied with everything going wrong around here for the last week I hadn't even noticed, RJ.  I bet White caught it...

oops, I was just reading the text message that I copied into my previous 'shout' and realized my buddy used some colorful language.   :o

I see someone already corrected it for me.  Sorry!!  :-[

I've been working on how to improvise and just found this playlist with a metric crap-ton of guitar backing tracks. Thought I'd share.

Hey Hey, power back (for now).  But still snowing and blowing.

Wonder if Canada is getting any of this, or is it just our little treat?  :P

April 15, 2018, 09:16:53 PM
Well, heavy snow and 50mph winds with gusting.  Lost power about 6-7 hours ago.  Waited till it was 45 in the house to see if it would come back on before going out and starting the generator.  Hope it comes back on sometime tonight...

Really like this song KT and I'm liking your intro. Will be keeping a watchful eye for the full and finished version when it's done.

Hello! I'm trying to get back into songwriting now I have a bit more time on my hands (still not got a new job yet!). I keep starting songs but not getting past the first verse...decided to just go back to doing a cover song and picked Steeleye Span's song Gamble Gold (Robin Hood). I spoke to my Dad about using brass instruments to play the melody instead of a recorder and I think its gunna work lol I've just finished the idea for the intro/melody and thought I'd show ya'll :) lots to do as theres quite a lot of lyrics in their songs!

Heres mine:

and heres the original for those who need a reminder/never heard it before

Hopefully see you around a bit more ;) I know I keep saying that, but hopefully I'll get rid of this writers block!

Thanks Way2 for having a listen.

I totally agree, it's even not much different to using session musicians, just session muso's you haven't met.

That was pretty cool, Smurf, nice find...  :)

I've only heard this song a couple of times and it's not on my radar but I'm enjoying you rendition Buster and, again it's good to have more artists doing 'so called' cheaters. Don't see it as so much of a cheat. One could argue that if a guitarist uses a drum track, that is also a cheat.

...and sorrry Joom I remember I had the same problem before and you told me to change the bit rate, which I completely forgot.  Doh....  :P

 :P :P :P

I was posting while you were posting, apparently, Buster.  But yeah, probably a quality (bit rate) thing...
