I haven't used KAE for many years, but don't think I have ever used 16 tracks on any recording.  If it could do midi it would be great.

Studio One Free is ok, but being tied to the built in effects is more restrictive than only having 16 tracks.

I wish that Matthias would bring KAE back to life, it would not take that much, besides a Midi modual just fix it to use Reapers VST FX and it would be golden.

I find the 16 track limitation to be quite invigorating.... 8)

I've had a nasty cold that made me hoarse but today I felt much better and was able to sing!  Not well but I really enjoyed being able to practice at lunch. :)

I suggested to Matthias that he finally close the Kristal forum as it is still a haven for spam that I have to clean up each day. It looks lilke he did it...

Here’s a new song for u. One that’s an old song.

It’s from around 1998-99 and recorded on my Forstex 4 track caster recorder.

I must get back to some guitar based songs again.

That was a little unexpected (for me anyway lol )
So used to hearing your other stuff....

Interesting tune...you should redo that one....

Hiya OT
Nice, but I have a slight complaint... Please, TURN YER VOX UP. It's difficult to hear the lyrics. I know YOU know the words, but they are a bit obscure. I used to do it myself, all the time, but after MUCH telling off, I had to turn my vocals up to what I personally thought was waaaay too loud, but that was 'cos I thought my vox was loud enough - until I'd been told thahsands o' times that it wasn't. Otherwise, this is a very pleasant melody... nicely done. Soz about the late(ish) reply OT, but I keep forgetting about this site. That's my reason and I'm stickin' to it.
Kind regards,
Bri
