That's what I thought, Neil.  All about presentation.  ;)

I do wish they had some kind of protective screen or mesh over the speakers.  Can't wait to see how they sound...

Home again.  Didn't get the network/wi-fi finished at the school, have to go back again Thursday.

Sampson monitors are here, hopefully I can get them set up tomorrow and test them out on a mix I need to do.  They look good...

I can relate, Smurf.  Yesterday I made it 10-12 miles at 20mph before I turned around and came back.  Icy ruts pulling the car all over, and twice pulled me onto the center line with semi's coming the other way.  Scary...

Just had to turn around & come home from my sleep study tonight....super bad roads + ice + nothing but hills, valleys and drop-offs for 18 miles of the trip....no thanks! :P

Sampson monitors are supposed to be here UPS tomorrow sometime.  I have to go do a network job at a school, so I won't get to try them out till Wednesday.  But I have some mixing to do, so I'll let y'all know how they work...

I know, right?  I used to climb right in there.  Not anymore.

Two years ago I had to pull the exhaust manifold and some other things just to get to the back 3 plugs on one of the cars just to do a tuneup.

I hear ya Joom...our old 1/2 tons you could climb in beside the engine and almost close the hood,,, now you have to almost remove the motor to change a fan belt lol

I've got a pile of tools and testers that weren't even thought of 50 years ago.  Aside from basic drive train axle stuff, you have to start with an OBD tester just to know what might be going on.

I've always said I'd love to have a 1965 'anything' in good shape to fix up and drive...

Things have definitely changed a lot from back in the day of simple carburetors and distributors with points, Buster.  I could fix most things on the road with a few tools.  Not any more...

You guys are doing well. The 1st car I owned I took out the engine and gearbox, removed all the parts, had the engine o'hauled, put it all back in, re-timed it and drove it away. The new truck, I can't name a single thing under the hood.

And yeah, garage and pole barn, both full of motorcycles and dirt bikes, mowers, and a ton of other crap.  Been promising myself to clean them out for a long time and give myself a work area...

Same here, Red.  Back in the 70's before I got into computers I was a licensed mechanic, and I still refuse to pay somebody else to do what I can do.  Most of the time...

Hey Jahva....I haven't got any new tracks up and running yet.  Have some recent but not new.

I will try and put a demo together (of something) over the weekend.  Do you have any idea as yet.  I know you are a pretty quick worker :) :)

Hey Dino...
Got a few things I started working on...  will send you some tracks this evening you can check out... just some acoustic kind of sketches with some bass.

So... wheels are in motion maybe spinning in the mud a bit... but in motion.  :P :P

Agrade - where do we upload songs for this task?

Is there another SoundCloud page which is different to the normal monthly challenge?

Otherwise he danger is all the songs for both competitions will get mixed up together and things could get Messed Up.

Well on the TTM soundcloud page there is currently sept challenge entries mixed with Octobers. If I add the collaboration challenge entry, then it will be very messed up.

What happens to previous monthly challenge songs? Do they get moved? Deleted?

The OCD ARCHIVES link doesn't work and I guess Joom has enough on his plate just trying run this site and keep everyone's egos in check. It probably costs him financially to.

So, if I can help out in anyway let me know.

i pm'd neilmac what his process was last month, because i remember him posting that he took care of getting it ready for september.

i think it could get messy if it isn't done right, but i think we could upload songs for both challenges at the same time and then make 2 playlists and make sure the proper song gets added to the right playlist.

Here's mine and Way2lon entry

Lyrics:
We pay the price
You count the cost
Some you've won
But mostly you have lost
The final bill
What is this nation worth
When all we hear
Same old empty words

I can't see what people see in you
The pictures cracked distorting the view
I can't see what people see in you
The veil of truth is so far removed

I cant see what people see in you
It's all messed up, you're such a stupid fool
I can't see what people see in you
Enoughs enough and you're not gonna rule

Losing ground
To the other side
Fortunes fade
And there's no where to hide
Chose our path
Our own destiny
Dont let them fool you
This ain't democracy

I can't see what people see in you
The pictures cracked distorting the view
I can't see what people see in you
The veil of truth is so far removed

I cant see what people see in you
It's all messed up, you're such a stupid fool
I can't see what people see in you
Enoughs enough and you're not gonna rule

Watch your back
The writings on the wall
Stabbed from behind
Waiting for a fall
Cast your vote
For who will save the day
One more election
One more candidate

I can't see what people see in you
The pictures cracked distorting the view
I can't see what people see in you
The veil of truth is so far removed

I can't see what people see in you
The pictures cracked distorting the view
I can't see what people see in you
The veil of truth is so far removed

I cant see what people see in you
I can't see what people see in you
I cant see what people see in you
I can't see what people see in you

CAn someone delete he first song I uploaded.

I messed up lol

So get rid of "at one way track". I could figure out how to change name and can't delete it myself.

Thanks
