Hey Dave Good to see about the place... I gave a listen and would suggest Dino or Ags... they're probably 2 of the best finger pickers here.

Pretty cool Neil... honestly I don't know their music all that well... so I don't really know if you did it your way or their way. I liked it either way!
If you ever go looking for a new drummer software check out Superior Drummer... I'm telling you it's the chit!
Good playing throughout on all the instruments... I know we sometimes take that for granted round here since we all seem to play whatever we can get our hands on. It's tight!  Vocals sound good... I can't imagine what would have to happen to me to ever come close to your falsetto...  :o

Rock / One for all you classic rockers......

How about a little Deep Purple then??

Love this tune.... in fact, when I went to the store to try out my first multi FX pedal MANY years ago, this was one of the tunes I tried out on it lol

Rhythm guitar is the Jay Turser Strat Copy through the Zoom G5 pedal on a Ritchie Blackmore Preset called SmokeWater ( consists of two treble boosters followed by a Vox Combo amp, followed by an Analogue Delay and a Hall Reverb). Sounds pretty damn good even if I say so myself....

Solo on the same guitar and Preset with the external Tube Booster engaged...

Organ is the Casio CTK3000 on some organ setting or other ( knew I should have written it down :P )
I also fed this signal through the G5 using a Marshall amp and, I believe, a Rotary speaker to a Jon Lord style Hammond Organ feel....

Drums are the MT Power Drumkit using a midi file from a GuitarPro tab by somebody or other :)

Vox and Bass as per usual ;)

Enjoy! Or not!

Some hate the program, some love it, and I am both. There are things in it that has needed improved for decades, and there are things that have advanced that I never thought of, just like anything I guess. All I know is I feel using it in my tracks is NO different than using a loop or midi....it is a tool, and a fun one at that!

I like it a lot, Smurf, but that latest update (Build 467) seems to have caused problems with a tune I was working on.  Haven't had time to check it all out yet, could just be a corrupted file.

And yeah, nothing wrong with using BiaB, or loops, or midi.  Cheaper than hiring a backup band...  :P

Ok so yeah lol sexy fingers , recorded the music ( good enough I guess you know me ) go grab my ad card from H4n load it up and nope that's not it , err that's birds , this one is rain , this one is dead silence ? Scratch head , this one is also dead silence more head scratching, then thunder and rain and that's it ummm ... wth ? I recorded the train played it back I heard it !!! But now it's gone ? Never had that happen unless I downloaded it and deleted it off the card already ? Don't remember that but I am getting old lol

K so now I'm pissed and I say screw it im gunna jump in the truck and get another train thing is its pot luck catching one . Ok so grab the gear head out riding north bound next the tracks heading towards a spot what do I hear pray tell Yup a train 🚂  Noooooooo it's going south bound and flying north noooooooo and was s good one !

Well now I know there won't be one for a while so I decide to check out a train yard I've not been called Linwood train yard , folks say go there you'll get all the sounds you want .

Well it's a train yard not only was nothing going on but no trains would be trucking on by at speed which wanted . So I turn around and back towards my other spot to catch one , figure I just have to wait for a while ( boring ) anyway off I go .

For some reason I just glanced at the recorder then glanced again then one more time as my slowly glided over to it to open up the SD card door, Click ...... You've got to be kidding me !!  I grabbed everything but the stupid SD card 😠😠😠😠😠😠

Life as a Ray can't get no better ... lol

Buster, I have the Ultra Plus Pack with all the extra add-ons. I have used the program since it was on floppy's, and usually upgrade it every 2 years. They have always had a great sale around Christmas / New Years, so I just wait until then.

This year I lucked out. I bought the Xtra Styles PAK2 and entered thier song contest (I also entered the song for the monthly TTM challenge). I won in the Country category and was awarded $150 PGMusic cash to use at a later date. Needless to say I used it for my 2017 upgrade!  :P

Some hate the program, some love it, and I am both. All I know is I feel using it in my tracks is NO different than using a loop or midi....it is a tool, and a fun one at that!

Here is a link to the page on the PGMusic site of the contest...
