Noticed that a few days ago, G.  Been a while since we've seen him.  Hope to see him jump in here...

The 99 cent one on a laptop, Neil.  Good for when you're on the trail and think of something...

Which DAW do you have in it is what I want to know..... :P

You get older and all that dust and weather just isn't as much fun on the trails anymore.  And I like not having to haul anything around.  Being licensed, we can just drive to wherever we want to trail ride - and go.

Once the new starter gets here, anyway...  :P

Ah.  Yeah, I know a few people with the Polaris Ranger, nice units.  Reason I really like the Tracker is fully enclosed, heat in the winter, AC in the summer, lots of room for stuff, and it's licensed so drive it anywhere anytime.

Oops, sorry, I meant Polaris Ranger. I did have a Ford Ranger years ago though. Clutch went out and I traded it for a new 2003Tundra. It's still my daily driver with 340,000 miles on it.

I'm sure there is, G, just give it some thought...  ;)

First time, though, that I've been called a pe pole...
Guess there's now way to blame someone else for this, huh? :-[ ;D

I have a Ranger too, BD, but the clutch went out last year and I haven't fixed it yet.  Too many other things.  It is a good little work truck.  The F150 plow truck I got last fall is a good one too.  But the Tracker is a perfect trail buggy...

Ah, I see. I have a Ranger I use on my property for work and hunting.

An off-road vehicle for old pepole

And that too...  :P

We have dirt bikes, quads, 3 wheeler, golf carts, and a Kawasaki Mule.  But the Tracker is my favorite, because I set it up like a little home away from home...

Don’t remember hearing about the B-52 gotta look into it . 😀
You get the reverb working ?

I sexy fingered my lexicon interface and blew channel 1&2 lucky I had 3&4 to work with lol

I called lexicon to see if the bench price went up and sure thing it did from 80 bucks to 140-240

It also turns out lexicon discontinued these units, bummer I don’t get why no one likes them but me lol

I went to my favorite online store Reverb.com and found a brand new unit offered a bid , it was excepted and for 200 bucks I have a nice shimmer new unit coming .

forget about the guitar and how it sounds.  we all know you can play. ;D ;)

I love the passion you have when you discuss your instruments

Thanks Dino :)

I don’t usually hear the difference - which is why I asked.... it just seemed to stand out even compared to your other guitars.... that’s how I hear an acoustic guitar  in my head when recording.... the reality is always so disappointing for me.....

I’m going to keep an eye out for one of those.......maybe one day  :P

I think your just attracted to a certain sound Neil . True some of my guitars have a certain weakness like my CV-1 she gets tone flat on the bass side higher you go up the frets but really I like all my guitars sound especially Gloria she’s cream of the crop .

When have only one guitar it’s hard to hear another one and say wow that’s great right on the spot sometimes it takes time to hear it for what it is not what you expect .

It’s really nice to have a verity of tone experience. Can’t remember what you have for a acoustic ?

If you do go after one of these contemporary guitars make sure you know what to look for as there all mostly all refurbished , it’s hard to find one that was factory released to the public a A stock .

Thanks Neil lol , I don’t think the mics are coloring anything there the same mics I been using for like ever lol

I do switch out the Mxl and blue from time to time but the other one is the monoprice lollipop large condenser it has huge capacitors in it and takes a bit to power down .

Though these guitars had issues and most you find for sale are refurbished their USA Guilds none the less . They were built in Tacoma Washington and that’s when Guild really started to up its game from there manufacturing moved to New Hartford Connecticut were they became the best built and best sounding Guilds . All thanks to Ren Ferguson who used to be with Gibson . Look him up .

Anyway Guild always used good lumber all AAA . But yeah there’s still some duds out there everyone had them but far and few between with guild unless there rejects .

Guild was using Honduras Mahogany which is the true mahogany while others had already switched to using Sapele and the other African wood not true mahogany.

So the Honduras coupled with that Adirondack top is what makes it sound good bother :)

Oh she’s much easier to play now :)

Did a poor mans demo of the guitar .

I did the neck reset and new saddle she’s ready to go . But her final set up was not done as of demo .

Yup sounds good to worked a deal with the seller and she’s all mine . One neck reset coming up .

Few more shots .
What’s interesting is that the top being Adirondack it has light bear claw and silking which is fairly rare .

Do we all need to come to your hose and stage an intervention?  :P

Good luck with the new one!
Can’t wait to see/hear it  :)

He said hose ! Lol

I typo’d the guitar is not a CV-2 but a CO-2

I got it yesterday and have to say she’s one of the nicest looking models out there considering there reject guitars . Lol

But she needs a neck reset so I’m waiting for the seller to get back with me if it works out I’ll keep it .

Ummmmmm...................huh?  ???

Well at least Joom is reading my posts lol and Neil yeah , he says he don’t drink . 😐
