That's what I thought, Neil.  All about presentation.  ;)

I do wish they had some kind of protective screen or mesh over the speakers.  Can't wait to see how they sound...

Home again.  Didn't get the network/wi-fi finished at the school, have to go back again Thursday.

Sampson monitors are here, hopefully I can get them set up tomorrow and test them out on a mix I need to do.  They look good...

I can relate, Smurf.  Yesterday I made it 10-12 miles at 20mph before I turned around and came back.  Icy ruts pulling the car all over, and twice pulled me onto the center line with semi's coming the other way.  Scary...

Sampson monitors are supposed to be here UPS tomorrow sometime.  I have to go do a network job at a school, so I won't get to try them out till Wednesday.  But I have some mixing to do, so I'll let y'all know how they work...

I know, right?  I used to climb right in there.  Not anymore.

Two years ago I had to pull the exhaust manifold and some other things just to get to the back 3 plugs on one of the cars just to do a tuneup.

I hear ya Joom...our old 1/2 tons you could climb in beside the engine and almost close the hood,,, now you have to almost remove the motor to change a fan belt lol

I've got a pile of tools and testers that weren't even thought of 50 years ago.  Aside from basic drive train axle stuff, you have to start with an OBD tester just to know what might be going on.

I've always said I'd love to have a 1965 'anything' in good shape to fix up and drive...

Things have definitely changed a lot from back in the day of simple carburetors and distributors with points, Buster.  I could fix most things on the road with a few tools.  Not any more...

You guys are doing well. The 1st car I owned I took out the engine and gearbox, removed all the parts, had the engine o'hauled, put it all back in, re-timed it and drove it away. The new truck, I can't name a single thing under the hood.

And yeah, garage and pole barn, both full of motorcycles and dirt bikes, mowers, and a ton of other crap.  Been promising myself to clean them out for a long time and give myself a work area...

Same here, Red.  Back in the 70's before I got into computers I was a licensed mechanic, and I still refuse to pay somebody else to do what I can do.  Most of the time...

I'm with you Joom. I do all our car maintenance, have a 3 car garage and can't park a single car in it.  :/

Here is the newest thing from band In A Box....video tracks of the players playing the tracks. Joanne from the PG forum created a video using them that you can check out here....

I would have focused on the track end of things in BiaB, but that is me. The videos ccould be fun, as she shows.

Anyhoo, just a fun little post! 8)

now have to upgrade BiaB to 2018 UltraPak.......

This year I just went for the Plus Pak, then added the 49 Pak & Xtra Styles Pak 4......saved some $$ this way, but I miss the HDD.. ;D

I even have a key chain now!  :o  :P  ::->

Also, the new Real Tracks Video Sets....I can see the ones included being used in a vid, but I don't think I would buy any of the extra ones at the moment.  ;)  8)

Well, even tho I did NOT buy this & wrap it up for y'all, it IS at Our Favorite Price Pointâ„¢.... ;)

I have wanted a Hang Drum VSTi for a few years, but most of what I have found has been lacking. Tonight I ran across this one by Ample Sound called the Ample Percussion Cloudrum.

It says Free on the front page of the site, but since I just loaded it a few hours ago I can not say for sure. They also have Lite Versions of a P-Bass & Acoustic VSTi for Download.

I hope everyone has a good Christmas tomorrow, and don't eat too much!  (-!)

Enjoy!  8)

Thanks for the kind words Kevin, I appreciate them!

You can check out my old stuff at my Sound Click page....The JCS Project

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=292929

All the info is with the tracks. There are a few guests on the tracks, notably Mr Dino who did up some solid vocals of a few, and my best friend / bass player Rick "The Stik". I DO believe I allowed downloads, but not sure.......have to check that out if not.

Fair warning, a LOT of these are Faith Based tracks, so if Religion offends then don't listen to them, tho a lot of them can also be taken a number of ways.

Enjoy! 8)

I seen this on Spectre Sound Studios you tube channel, and it looks like a great deal ATM. It would be a LOT easier than tracking down how to do each site for sure.

I have a couple Albums out, mostly Original stuff, but very old.......I need to Get Back In The Saddle! :P 8)
