Well, went for a back road ride this afternoon, stopped for a coffee, and the solenoid in the trail buggy died.  Had to phone a friend.  And tomorrow have to go get the buggy home and fix it...  >:(

Reaper 4.78 & latest Mixbus here, but I also own Sonar Platinum tho I have not really tore into it too deep.....

Too many toys! :P  8)

DAW-wise, I've purchased Sonar Professional, and after Cakewalk went bye-bye I picked up a discounted Mixbus. And then Cakewalk got bought out lol

I do use Mixcraft, I've been beta testing since 2. That's gotta be nearly 10 years back now. If you want to colab, give me a shout. We can just use the project  base for swapping files. Easy. Acoustica's tag line is "Software should be easy"

Cool.  Maybe one of these days we can do a MixCraft collab on something, BD...

I also have Reaper and Harrison, but I use Mixcraft 95% of the time.

I definitely don't need any more DAWs, but while looking for something else last night I did happen to find a really good deal on a DAW I've never heard of, so I have to get it...  :P

And your shout did remind me to check for updates, and found the 8.1 update.  I'll have to use MixCraft again soon on something, it is a good program.

Good one, Gaz.  Look forward to the next one...  :)

Nice one, Cotton...

Well, sometimes we just have to call a spade a spade, and a moron a moron.

I've always been curious about that.  Seems to me that if you can learn a lot from a 'lesson', you should be able to learn a lot more from a 'moron'...  (-!)

Yer old and senile enough, Boss, you can blame anything on anything you want to.... (-!)

 :P :P :P

I guess that's why I thought this was apropos...

Yup, these are a ton of fun.

Kind of related to this, another thing I've always had fun with is taking one of my favorite old songs and writing new lyrics for it.  Maybe we can do a challenge like that sometime...  (-!)

I have sung some different lyrics to "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"...but they are NOT PG rated by ANY stretch of the imagination!  )(?

The flashbacks I have from the bar days!  :P  8)

Well, you know me when I'm on the run - posted this in the wrong thread.  For some reason I thought I was posting in the cheater challenge, and that's what I was talking about.  ???

I'm blaming it on the fact I was headed out the door to a business supper, and not on senility...  (-!)

Excellent work, Smurf, great tune.  :)

Of course, as with all instrumentals, I spent the whole tune making up 'on-the-fly' lyrics...  :P

Ha, you almost fooled me putting your text inside the quote, One.  :P

Okay, you get me the other stuff whenever you can, and I'll build you a page to check out...  (-!)

JOOM - regarding the band room section, could you maybe use my info from the artist of the month interview I did (sorry I know it’s a cop out).

You bet, One, except I can't seem to find a copy of it.  Just checked through the hard drive.  I did find the IDIOT interview you did with Dave back in 2011, but can't find the AotM.

If you have a copy, could you get it to me?

I'll also need an intro line (check the main Band Room page for examples), any images you want posted, and the links to your SoundCloud (and any other) music pages, as well as any YouTube or anything else you want listed.  You can email it all to me when you get it together.  And if you don't have a copy of the AotM interview, I'll keep searching.  Just let me know...

Yeah, well, okay...

10 minutes, BD?  What took you so long?  :P   (!:)

I wrote mine about 5 minutes after first reading the challenge, just waiting till Monday or Tuesday to put it to music.  Assuming I don't get any calls.

Looking forward to what you got, BD...  ;)

Do we all need to come to your hose and stage an intervention?  :P

Ummmmmm...................huh?  ???
