A new old song or an old new song
« on: November 25, 2017, 04:36:02 PM »
Hey guys - I thought I'd post a song that originally the guys and I recorded back in 1988? on an 8 track 1/4" reel to reel.
Several months ago, the tape was rediscovered as was the reel to reel, and the tracks were downloaded into a digital format and sent to me for remixing and editing. The drums did not make it, the tracks were degraded, and the several of the remaining tracks played at different speeds with various noises, etc....anyway, I fixed everything I could, EQ'd it, etc....and here you have it. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Happy belated Thanksgiving,

Hey, nice song, well played!
And, a good job rescuing and mixing it!  8)

Sounding good for 1/4" 8 track. That's not a lot of space for each track  :o
