I truly enjoyed this video.  Something about this music and mood is very attractive to my inner being somehow.  I love it!  Very nice, HE.   How did you mic the sitar?

Yea, that's good music right there!  Quick & easy has worked for me many times. So often you can't re-capture that initial rush of adrenalin.  I like it a lot!

The simple ones are often times the best.  This one will be in my hair now.  :)   Very catchy, Glenn & Larry.  I like it!

How many freudians does it take to change a light bulb?
Two.  One to screw in the light bulb, and the other to hold the penis, I mean ladder.

Thank you Dino.  I'm entering into a creative cycle once again having been distracted lately.  Can't wait to finish another in the works.  I always enjoy your songs too.  :)

Well J,  as I read your question, I got a bit choked up actually, so that should be a give a way.  My dear friend took his life and I haven't gotten over it yet.  Don't suppose I ever will.  But I was also thinking about my dad who passed a while ago too. I tried to also be third person perspective as someone losing a lover as that might fit too.  But yes this comes from a personal experience.  Thanks for asking.  You are in tune with me.

Thank you, Joom.  When this old fart records it properly I'll crank up the vocals.   ;)  I'm nearly deaf myself,

Hi Smurf,

Hey, you're not so far from me either.  You still near Zanesville?  I'm in Westerville.

Yeah, that was so cool to meet Matthew.  He is a great artist!  When he posted on FB that he was gonna be an hour away, I didn't think twice about going to see him.  I really plan to be more involved here with you all.  Thanks for the kind words.

Yea, I like it too Bri. I like all your songs!  I've been absent for awhile and I intend to listen to as much as I can over some time.  I remember your song LUV and would luv to hear it again.  Is that what it was called? Where is it?

Lyrics / Re: "Scrambled eggs...my baby how I love your legs"
« on: March 11, 2012, 10:14:05 AM »
I try not to stick to any one method as it will limit the creative process.  When I pick up my guitar and a melody comes from God knows where, I get excited and play it over and over.  The mood usually gets me to spit out some nonsense and then I feel pressured to come up with something clever and meaningful.  My first songs were just say anything that comes to mind and most of the time it was nonsense or only I would understand what I meant.  I would be so self conscious of these that I dare not allow anyone to hear them.  I'd later change the words to something trite or more acceptable.  I threaten to go back to that at times but maybe that's being lazy.  I have trouble coming up with something meaningful to say.  I love music so much I don't care much about telling a story. I like songs for the music not the words.  I thought once about making my own language while composing and making just verbal sounds.  I like to think of my voice as an instrument and I love harmonies.  I have though at times written a song with both lyrics and music together and that's a rare treat.  Nothing pleases me more than coming up with a new melody. Am I rambling? Good topic.

That was awesome!
