My wife still thinks Roger is a hunk Smiley

And well, we kinda are beginning to resemble that remark. I'd still go see the Who again anytime.

Not bad for a couple old dudes. Smiley

-ing as how 1/2 of 'The Who' are...well...dead.

"old farts"...heh...I resemble that remark.  They looked, played & sounded old-er. The rhythm section sounded canned & never  really got cut loose.   Liked the Bassman stack Townshend used.  Zak's an excellent drummer.  Had Moon as a mentor...that's cool too.  Overall not too bad...especially see

Ringo's son isn't too bad, but he aint no Keith Moon..
I thought the Who would've been better if they just stuck to 2 or 3 songs and rocked them out instead of 20 songs in a rapid fire medley. Not bad for a bunch of "old farts" Smiley

Anybody else see the Super Bowl halftime act by 'The Who'? Daltrey & Townshend...Pino Pallidino on bass & Zak Starkey drums.  Pretty loose set.  Pretty rough vocals & leads...pretty cool though.

In Vegas trimmer I can easily separate audio from the video and manipulate each separate on my timeline.  I still use MM for some stuff but real detailed editing just seems easier w/vegas.  I have to synch on lots of my vids with soundtracks that are KAE audio  created simultaneously while recording

Hi RK, just get Vegas Studio 9, it's only $50 and has all the features I need. I tried the 30 dy trial on all the versions first.

Welcome to Two Track Music!

If you're an artist you can create a profile in The Band Room and put up your songs, videos, information about you or your band, create personal blogs, and even sell your songs if you like.  Stop over to The Band Room and listen to some of the great songs other artists have posted.  Visitors are welcome too.  But be sure and register in the Forums in order to get in on collaborations and other conversations going on there between various Indie artists.

Two Track Music is a site dedicated to people who make music or sound in any form.  No matter what the genre, style, or how the music or sound is made.  Whether you play an instrument, sing, write lyrics, or use a DAW (digital audio workstation) to create music, you can talk about it here.  TTM is both a community based site where people can talk about music and ways to create it, and a 'social media' site where you can post or listen to all kinds of music by all kinds of artists and check out their profiles and stats.

This month's decider of the AotM is forum member and resident Ozland travel guide, Mr. Mungbean9.  Go 9:

Artist of the Month for January 2010 Thanks for the invite of choosing AotM, This was an easy choice for me. I chose someone who has been a big influence and mentor to both myself, and no doubt alot of others here at TTM and at KAE forums, He started out at KAE the same time I did, and quickly showed his talents, both as a writer and instrumentalist,  also his skills "behind the desk" and video production are 2nd 2 none. He put his heart on his sleeve, and his spirit in his his music, and has grown into a very well respected member of our little community, and always helps out anyone where he can, with some very sound advice, and has done some amazing things with other peoples mixes, and Tributes. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with him, and also got to know him as a close friend, something i value very much. So, without further ado, im pleased to announce this months TTM AotM, is our good buddy from Nashville Tennessee, .....BigBoneHead (Band Room profile). Keep on doing what ya do mate, and enjoy the accolades!! Thanks. ~ Mungbean9

Normally we let the same forum member choose both the AotM and the SotM, but this month is special:

Song of the Month for January 2010 - I'll keep this short and sweet.  This month's song is a tribute to our own Smurf that was performed and recorded by people from both the TTM and the KAE forums.  A little something to show him how much we appreciate his help, advice, and endless information he shares freely with everyone on both sites.  Find it here.  You deserve much more, Smurf, but we did what we could.  Thanks for everything, Sir. ~ TTM & KAE Members

The video challenge for November/December has closed, and a winner has been chosen by popular vote.  And the winner is..............Aswegohomestead, with his video 'The Simple Life'.  Check it out here.  And congratulations Stead, very nice win with a great video.

There are always collaborations going on between some of the members, and whether you're a member or just visiting you can check out what's going on in the collaborations section of the forums here.  Drop in for a listen or get involved.

There are currently no new music challenges yet this month, but there are a number of collaborations going on, so if you're not already in there having fun it's a good time to get started.  And, if you're just starting out in recording, it's a great way to get your feet wet.  No matter what your talent, or genre of music you like, you'll find something in the Forums that will interest you.  See you in there...
